Volunteer Opportunity: Dreams Beyond Cancer Presents Comedian Earl David Reed

When:  Oct 23, 2021 from 06:30 PM to 10:30 PM (ET)
Associated with  Eta Eta Chapter
Dreams Beyond Cancer is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) started by mom after her battle with stage 3c melanoma of the head and neck. She realized through her care the social disparities that exist within healthcare for both education and ability to afford basic medical supplies (such as gauze and tape for consistent wound dressing changes). Her goal has been to provide care to the local community affected by cancer, by supplying financial assistance to those impacted by cancer personally or within their family to attend college, as well as to assist cancer patients in being able to afford some of their basic medical supplies.
The pandemic delayed a lot of our fundraising activities, but we were finally able to get comedian Earl David Reed (EDR) booked for a show on Saturday, October 23rd! EDR has performed locally and on various national stages, including Atlantic City and Las Vegas.
We are seeking no more than 10 volunteers to assist with this event. The event is being held at the Red Lion Elks Lodge (323 W. Broadway, Red Lion), which is about 20 minutes away from the college. Volunteers would be needed from 6:30p-10:30p and must be ages 18 or over. Responsibilities include managing entry/exit points, at the door ticket sales, and assisting with the raffle tickets and silent auction table. We would like to have a list of names, email addresses, phone numbers, and tshirt sizes (men's shirt sizing) for the volunteers by late September.

Attached is a copy of the flyer for reference. If anyone would like to purchase tickets for the event as an attendee, please have them use the information on the flyer.
