Our Strategic Plan:
Eta Eta Chapter Executive Board has established a Strategic Plan to guide chapter activities and ensure that we fulfill our chapter mission. It delineates activities in the core areas of our nursing honor society: leadership, knowledge, service, communities, and sustainability. We also have a Communication Plan to ensure we keep in contacts with chapter members
Our Membership:
Eta Eta Chapter has 260 active members who have met the membership criteria, enjoy the benefits of Sigma Theta Tau International, and accept the responsibility for nursing leadership, scholarship, and excellence.
Officers:
Eta Eta leadership consists of the Executive Board and its committee structure. The Executive Board includes: President, President-Elect, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and two Faculty Counselors. There are several committees: Governance, Leadership Succession, Member Involvement, and Awards.
Annual Membership Cycle:
In May, we welcome Membership Intent forms from undergraduate students and graduate students. Over the summer, faculty counselors verify whether candidates meet the membership criteria. In August or September applicants-, and notify applicants of their status. Potential inductees receive email instructions from Sigma Theta Tau International to complete the membership process
